After 25 years in Oil & Gas and particularly in the last decade, whenever I have anything to do with road freight and logistics there is a particular image that I expect to see.
However on Tuesday, the IAS truck arrived to pick up (right on time) my 23 paintings for the Sydney exhibition. The two gentlemen that emerged from the cab were very neatly dressed, wonderfully polite, efficient and highly organised. The truck was immaculate, and by that I mean you could eat off any given surface right down to the valve caps. The inside was better appointed than my home with better air conditioning and cleaner, you could perform heart surgery in there and have no fear at all.
So thank you, as an artist, seeing the last 18 months of my hard work being handled so well, puts my mind at ease.
