IAS has acquired a Mack Anthem prime mover and two 40ft tautliner trailers as a welcome addition to our growing fleet of vehicles.
This acquisition was borne out of a need to diversify our service offering to large scale institutions, museums and commercial clients while maintaining the quality and sensitive handling standards IAS is known for.
A bit about the truck
This vehicle’s intended purpose is for non-climate, large-scale projects and bulk interstates/regional runs. With a load carrying capacity or 22 pallets, 24,510kgs and internal dimensions of (L) 13.35m x (H) 2.72m x (W) 2.35m and sleeper cab for our driver this vehicle is an efficient and secure method to move anything that our clients require.
The motivation behind the expansion
We have been steadily increasing our project work utilising specialist skills and equipment with an eye toward continued growth and improvement. This new vehicle is indicative of IAS’ commitment to providing our clients with new and efficient ways to work through their logistical challenges.
We plan to add climate controlled trailers in the coming year.
Adding to what we already do best
IAS already provides a national shuttle of dedicated art vehicles. Our vehicles offer world leading temperature and humidity control systems, (21ºC & 50% relative humidity), GPS satellite tracking and air-ride suspension, to provide the optimum conditions and security for fine art transportation.
