Rhys has 15 years’ experience in international logistics, originally managing high value perishable freight. Rhys has spent the past 10 years focussed solely on the arts sector, engaged with major exhibitions, private collectors, and corporate collections. Rhys now manages the delivery of major international acquisitions, loans and exhibitions for museums across Australia and New Zealand. Rhys most enjoys his interactions with clients and offers a friendly, professional, and trusted service – and is in his element guiding clients through the complexities of international art projects.
Clayton Sochacki
Clayton has carved out a career in the international freight industry over a total 27 years, with 16 years managing international exhibitions for museums & galleries. Clayton enjoys delivering International touring exhibitions and thrives on the logistics component in making sure that all segments deliver the most efficient and effective outcome. He also gains personal satisfaction by being able to provide workable solutions to the logistics challenges that present during the course of exhibition programs.
Victoria Ramirez
Originally from Argentina, Victoria completed a bachelor’s degree in international Trade at the Universidad de la Marina Mercante in Buenos Aires, Argentina and master’s degree in international business through Federation University Australia. Victoria has over 15 years’ experience in international logistics, seven of which were spent as a Customer Service Representative in the freight forwarding industry in her home country of Argentina. During this time she gained valuable experience in transporting both air and sea freight consignments. Since relocating to Australia, Victoria has been part of the IAS team now for over 8 years. In her role as International Exhibitions Coordinator Victoria’s main focus is managing and coordinating exhibitions for major galleries and museums. She prides herself on her attention to detail and enjoys the challenge of deciphering complex projects where she is able to draw on her experience to provide workable cost effective solutions for her clients.
Michael Brewer
Michael has over 25 years of experience in transport and logistics, with 20 of those being focused on international shipping. He has a large network of trusted agents from around the globe that he has partnered with for many years in dealing with the importing or exporting of sensitive freight items. Michael is an efficient operator who has a fine attention to detail and enjoys the challenge of meeting client deadlines and expectations.
George Boubeta
With 27 years of international museum logistics experience, there is little that George hasn’t done over the years. He has an intimate understanding of the load capacities and loading procedures of aircraft. George also has a strong network of connections within the airport community. George is fluent in Spanish.
Andrew Baker
Andrew has 18 years of diverse experience in international transport & logistics, having first completed a Bachelor of Commerce at theUniversity of Wollongong in 2005. Andrew developed his knowledge of the air & sea freight industry working for some of the world’s largest general freight forwarders for 6 years. Andrew took an interest in more specialised sectors of valuable cargo & dangerous goods sectors and continues to work in this area for a further 11 years, before joining IAS in early 2023. In his current role in International Logistics for IAS, Andrew takes pride in seeing each shipment through from beginning to end with his hands on approach and great attention to detail and problem solving skills.
